Trichomoniasis also know as Trichomonas Vaginalis is an infection caused by a microscopic parasite found in the vagina and urethra in both women and men.
It is passed on through unprotected vaginal, oral or anal sex, possibly by sharing sex toys, or from a mother to her baby at birth.
